Design Technologist

Design and supervise additions and alterations to existing physical facilities within an annual RAM (renovation, addition & maintenance) budget of about $1,000,000. Responsibilities included construction design (AME) to match or compliment existing facilities, contract preparation, building code compliance, bidding negotiations, subcontractor selection, project management, construction supervision, to certification of occupancy.

- Design & supervision of a 10,000 sqft. Industrial Maintenance / Welding Shop addition - Guelph Campus

- Design & supervision of  6,000 sqft. Renovation of existing facility to a Student Lounge - Doon Campus

- Design & supervision of the Library and Cafeteria Expansion

- Design & supervision of Renovation of existing facility to a Food and Beverage Management Facility

Duties included title searching, calculation, plotting and drafting of field data to produce legal land survey plans. Working with local Land developers in the preparation of site plans, draft and final plans of subdivisions.
